Is Air Compressor Oil Special?

Usually air – compressor oil gets used for cooling and sealing, thus making it a very one – of – a – kind, special kind of oil at the end of the day. Thus, it is important that you get very special, high – quality oil altogether, from a top – producing maker or brand … not to mention a model of choice. You can’t use motor oil as a substitute for this special kind of oil, either, so don’t ask. It’s just simply not a substitutable alternative of choice, in this instance. Now let’s keep talking …. ( I write … you listen, ok? ) ….

Now then, with this being said here, I also want to make light of the fact that you can use standard, synthetic or even an approved sort of alternative blend for this most – special kind of oil. Did you know that? Were you made aware of this?

This type of oil is so darn special for providing a special lubrication unlike any other. Not only that, but it also provides countless direct benefits to any kind of air compressor, such as these …..

• Solid absorption of heat : Compressed air basically produces heat, and this special oil will absorb it, more often than not … this is one of it jobs, and after it does so, that all helps your air – compressor stay cool and right down at the right temperatures ( so no over – heating, he he heh ) ….

• Great resistance against oxidation : The additives in the special oil can ( and often do, even ) delay oxidation as well as unhealthy internal – external acid formations.

• A lengthened overall shelf – life : Not only that, but this oil lasts longer and protects the components of the air – compressor ( even when it’s not being used and the oil just sits there inside of it ) .

• Great viscosity ( even against the coldest of temperatures, too … he he he he heh ) : This oil is great at maintaining such viscosity at ranging temperatures ( yes, even when there are multiple ranging degrees of heat, all happening at random in a single day, he he he he heh ) .

• Anti – foaming unlike anything else : This helps prevent the foam that occurs when air bubbles come all the way up to the surface. This oil helps by means of saturation separators, making a pressure – drop ( as needed, and when needed ) of their very own.

• Terrific demulsification : The additives in this oil help with water separation, too, which helps the compressor not have to have any problems with, for instance, emulsions ( whether water – based or oil – based ) .
